“Rachel's
Rangers”
Summertime hiking adventures for
children with the
Kearney House
staff. Held on Tuesday mornings in August, each hike meets at
10 am at a
different place in the park and covers
about 3 miles in 2 hours over relatively easy trails. For
children ages five and up.

Hawks”
Usually the first weekend in
October, this event features live birds of prey with
Jonathan Wood & the
Raptor Project
and exhibits
by area nature centers at
State Line Lookout.

“Punch &
Pie” at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern
During which
guests participate in the re-creation of a nineteenth-century Hudson River tavern at the
Kearney House,
several evenings in the spring and fall. Usually held on weekday evenings from 7:30–10
pm, the program features food &
drink, songs & tall tales—all taking place in an authentic candlelit
setting…
Spring 2009 dates: Wednesday
evenings, April 15 & 22.
Cost is $18 per guest—reservations and pre-payment are required.*

Retreat Weekend:
The Times that Try Men's Souls
This commemoration of the Continental
Army's strategic retreat from Fort Lee is held each
year at Fort Lee Historic Park
on the weekend closest to the actual date of November 20.
